Upcoming Cars in 2011 and 2012 Dodge Caliber Preview With Prices And Specification
Chrysler-Dodge has merged with Italian automaker Fiat, and the compact Caliber will be significantly renovated in Upcoming Cars in 2011 and 2012. The kinder and gentler Caliber will make its appearance in early 2011 and will be the first example of what this bilingual partnership might be producing in the future. The preeminent change will be the utilization of Fiat’s superbly designed C-Evo frame. A major problem with the previous Caliber was its rattle trap platform, which produced a loud, jarring ride.
Dodge Caliber Interior Design
Fiats have also been recognized for their sterling consoles and overall high end interiors. The materials used in these interiors are of very high caliber, which will be quite innovative for a car that has been noted for its very inferior interiors.
Small family cars are getting better and better, so the Caliber already seems a good few years out of date. It’s not a bad car, but unfortunately it battles with rivals in probably the most competitive sector of the market. The handling is poor and prone to understeer because the suspension is set up for comfort, and the cabin is swathed in hard, scratchy plastics. The driving position also suffers because there isn’t enough steering wheel adjustment.
